Jane Iredale “Moonglow” Bronzer – a must for creating that golden glow!

These days, you won’t find us without our Jane Iredale "Moonglow.” With 4 distinct colors, we apply Moonglow to our forehead, cheeks and temples to create a fresh from the sun look, and we never look orange. The 24-karat gold flecks in the bronzer add just the right amount of subtle shimmer when we use it on our eyes and lips.

Tips for application:
We apply dry, or occasionally mix with moisturizer for a more dramatic look. Depending on what we’re wearing, we’ll apply a bit on our shoulders and décolleté. To sculpt the face, apply a lighter base to the center of the face and use the bronzer around the perimeter and nose. This adds definition and pulls the center of the face out.

Our most recent event was called “Secrets of a Hollywood Stylist,” and it was a hit! Our clients came and brought their friends, and our hair artist Steve Napier facilitated. Steve is a long-time educator in our business, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to J.Bentley. He’s ultra-hip, and stays in tune with the latest trends in the world of fashion and beauty. Here’s a run down of what he shared at the event. Hair styling trends for 2009 include:

Braids
They’re easy and great for summer hair styles. Wear them as an accent to your current style.


Finger Waves
A timeless classic, finger waves bring sophistication to any style.

Chignons (Buns)
